A Walk In That Park fine art print
A Walk In That Park fine art print
A whitethorn tree sleeps at peace with her gnarls and twists. This work is inspired by Mike Featherstone's story 'A Walk in That Forest.' The protagonist struggles until she surrenders to her wilderness under the powerful full moon.
In Irish folklore, the whitethorn is a portal to ‘the Other People’, the faeries. This tree surrenders to grow with the forces of the four winds. Its roots tap into visions of darkness that must be reckoned with whimsy. This magical piece celebrates self-discovery, transformation and self-expression.

Caring for your art
Unpack carefully! Don't use a knife or scissors to cut through packaging. Remove tape carefully.
Handle your print by the edges. Skin has oils that can mark your print or cause it to discolour over time.
A2 and larger size prints: remove carefully from the tube. Place a small weight on each corner before you frame the work. Don't try to roll it 'backwards'.
Framing: buy the best you can afford to ensure many years of contented viewing. Look for acid free, archival quality materials, UV protective glass and if you're not confident, it's best to work with a professional framer.
Display: keep your print away from strong UV light sources to ensure longevity and to avoid fading. Don't display in humid places (like bathrooms or kitchens).
